Check out the long awaited video from Lady Gaga.Gaga’s creative director and co-director for the video, Laurieann Gibson, has let a few deets slip, including Gaga portraying the role of Mary Magdalene and Boondock Saint’s Norman Reedus in the role of Judas.
Gaga has announced that the video will premiere on American Idol with an uncut version becoming available later. Like Gaga’s Telephone, the music video for Judas will measure seven minutes in length. Gaga recently explained that the video for Judas “…suggests that forgiveness and betrayal are hand in hand, The video puts destiny above all things and postures that the mistakes in your life are in fact not mistakes at all, they are just part of your overarching potential and your destiny.”
It’s been reported that Judas cost…wait for it…$10 million!!! If this is true it would make Judas the most expensive music video ever made, even edging out Michael and Janet Jackson’s 1995 video for Scream, which at the time cost $7 million.
