MUSIC NEWS: Nelly Furtado New Album/Snippet of new Single

Though it was previously reported that Nelly Furtado‘s upcoming album The Spirit Indestructible (aka T.S.I.) would harken back to her 2000 debut Whoa Nelly!, we’re hearing more of a Loose vibe.

 In the LP’s lead single “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)”, produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Nelly goes returns to the hip-hop sound of her 2006 LP. The Canadian singer appears to really dig her new club tunes, since she’s seen jamming out to her song in a preview vid filmed inside the studio.

 The Spirit Indestructible (which also boasts production by Nas, Salaam Remi, and Tiesto) drops June 19.
