VIDEO PREMIERE: Ledisi -"BRAVO"

Soul songbird Ledisi reveals the music video for her latest single "Bravo." In the uplifting visuals, Ledisi sings, "I got a new walk, and a new point of view; a new purpose for everything I do."

"Bravo" is lifted from the Grammy winner's latest album 'Pieces of me,' which was released last year.

Ledisi is gearing up to hit the road again for her “BGTY” (Be Good To Yourself) headlining tour. Kicking off June 24, in Philadelphia, PA, the 27-city North American trek will make stops in major cities across the U.S. footprint before wrapping August 5 in Atlanta, GA. Joining Ledisi on the national trek is none other than soul crooner Eric Benet. (See dates here)

R&B/Soul singer Ledisi gave a raving performance of her new single “Bravo” Monday night as a musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Like all her live performances, Ledisi never fails to disappoint. 

Ledisi is was nominated for three Grammys at this years 2012 Grammy Awards including Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for “Pieces of Me.”

She was also here in Miami, Florida this past weekend at the Annual 'Jazz in the Gardens' Music Festival

CANDIDS: Essence Music Festival 2011 [TWITPICS]

 

The 2011 Essence Music Festival was in full effect July 1st-3rd. The annual event which takes place in New Orleans celebrated "the roots of R&B" and promised to have something for everyone. 

The 17th annual gathering included Trey Songz, Boyz II Men, Charlie Wilson, Mint Condition, Stephanie Mills and many more.

"We listen to our audience and these are the musicians they want to see under one roof for three days," said Michelle Ebanks, President, Essence Communications Inc. "Our mission this year was to celebrate community through the prism of the art form that continues to tell our reader's stories: R&B."
