NEW MUSIC: Aaliyah - 'Quit Hatin'

After celebrating her birthday just yesterday it looks like 'Baby Girl' and her camp have relased a new track in honor of her legacy. 

The  newly leaked track,“Quit Hatin” was produced by Knotch & Dre Sinatra. The song did surface in some form at one point, but the new version below has extra vocals and an added verse. Check it out below! via LoveBScott.com.

In this week’s episode of Behind The Music, VH1 takes a look back at the brief yet remarkable career of Aaliyah, whose life was cut tragically short at the tender age of 22 when her plane crashed shortly after takeoff in the Bahamas. 

This episode, which originally aired back in 2001, has been updated with brand new and never before seen interviews, including her friend and mentor, Missy Elliott. This special sneak preview of the entire first act of the show features some incredible footage of Aaliyah, who couldn’t have been more than 10 at the time, singing a haunting cover of Gloria Estefan’s “Anything For You,” as well as a candid interview with Aaliyah herself about how her Star Search molded her into the performer that she would one day become.
