IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Frank Ocean on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ [VIDEO]

With all the buzz surrounding his music and personal life, Frank Ocean made his television debut on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night.

To celebrate the release of his Def Jam debut channel ORANGE, which dropped a week early on iTunes (stream it here), the acclaimed singer-songwriter was joined by The Roots and a string section as he performed “Bad Religion,” one of the cuts on the album that sparked rumors about his sexuality.

“It’s a it’s a bad religion/ To be in love with/ Someone who could never love you/ Only bad only bad religion/ Could have me feeling the way I do,” sings the Odd Future crooner, who will kick off his North American tour on July 13 in Seattle.

I can honestly say that it has been awhile since I have heard such an authentic new artist like Mr. Ocean. His album can be played without skipping a track. He will definitely be making his mark this year and I see this dude at the Grammy's next year. Check him out in action below!!

Frank Ocean Posts 'Coming Out' Letter via Tumblr

A few days ago I reported that Frank Ocean admitted his bisexuality in one of his new songs from upcoming LP, 'Channel Orange'. Well earlier today he posted this heartfelt letter via his tumblr expressing his admiration for another male at one point in his life.

CNN anchor Andersoon Cooper also recently "came out" to the media. I think this is saying a lot about the LGBT community within the industry. I wonder who else is going to step up to the plate next? Queen Latifah perhaps?

Check out Frank's letter below!

If you're not familiar with this fresh young artist. Check him out below in some of his most successful cuts from the past year including  'Novacane', 'Thinkin' Bout You', 'Swim Good' and 'Church in the Wild', which was featured on Hov & Yeezy's WTT!

SAY WHAT?: Frank Ocean Confirms Bisexuality On New LP, Channel Orange? [TRACKLISTING]

Well that's just what it seems, according to ThatGrapeJuice...

Today, the R&B crooner's LP received its London press playback, and oh did it serve up more than expected. Frank Ocean make his foray from the Underground into the mainstream; a process which looks set to rock the charts with the release of his debut album ‘Channel Orange’ (due July 17th).

See what we mean via Max/BBC 1 Xtra‘s preview below…

Excerpt via This is Max:

“Frank has also opened up about his sexuality on the album, we think it’s brave and admire him for being so honest and sharing such a personal aspect of his life through his music. On the songs ‘Bad Religion’ ‘Pink Matter and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and their are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.

In the world we live in now we can’t see this being an issue or why it should be?? But we do commend him for not continuing a facade and conforming to what a Hip Hop so called rule book expects, we say live your life and be yourself.”

If this indeed is true, he would be the first  HipHop artist to come out before his career is even takes off!! Do you think this is a good move for  Frank. I personally commend him for not giving a dayum what anyone in this industry has to say and allows himself to be free within his music! What are your thoughts?!?!

VIDEO PREMIERE: Frank Ocean - 'Thinking Bout You'

Frank Ocean's slow-motion song of devotion “Thinking About You” has a complex history. First written for R&B vocalist Bridgett Kelly, Ocean's version was originally leaked last year only to be leaked again as up updated re-mastered this version this March. Now, we finally have an official video for the song the to be the lead single off Ocean's next LP.

Directed by Tumblr natives the High 5 Collective, the vid sets Ocean's doe-eyed crooning against something of an inter-dimensional love story, that or a dreamcatcher-inspired fever dream.

GOSSIP: Chris Brown & Frank Ocean TWITTER Beef!!!

Another week equals another Twitter tantrum thrown. Last week Rihanna went on a verbal tirade against a fan and this week was Chris Brown’s turn. Yesterday, the ‘F.A.M.E.’ singer traded jabs with Tyler the Creator of Odd Future and ‘Novocaine’ singer, Frank Ocean.

In Breezy’s defense, the tweet that started it all was a compliment Brown paid to Ocean saying,“I fuck wit Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum.” Clearly it was seen as a diss by Ocean who replied, “i fucks wit chris brown, reminds me of a young sisqo or ike turner,” Ocean went on to say, “i just dont like underhanded comments. thats all im saying.”

That’s all that was needed to ignite Brown’s short fuse. Should Chris be going back to anger management classes?!?! I never understood this whole twitter beef thing. Between Rihanna & Chris Brown maybe these slight anger issues played a part in why the two could not keep their relationship solid. Watch the shameful drama unravel below.

Brown tweets:

 Ocean responds:

Brown shoots back:

Tyler the Creator, who was also in on the beef, goes back and forth with Brown as well:
