Rihanna reigns over the Hot 100, recently charting her 10th No. 1 single with "S&M", and now the Bajan beauty is selecting the reggae-pop jam “Man Down” as the next single from her 'Loud' album.
The song has already been listed as a new single on AOL’s Radio Blog, and according to AllAccess, it’ll hit Top 40 Rhythmic radio on May 3rd.
RiRi seems to be going for a dual-singles approach here, with “Man Down” hitting urban formats while the acoustic power ballad “California King Bed” has been sent to pop.
That, or “California King Bed” has been postponed or possibly even scrapped — the song has yet to be sent to radio despite being performed live on American Idol, and AOL didn’t mention it when referring to all the singles that have been released from 'Loud.'
