Veteran singer Monica Arnold has had more than her fair share of time singing in front of the cameras and now the R&B singer is going to help others perfect their voices after inking a deal with NBC to join the cast of their latest singing competition hit “The Voice.”
According to hitfix.com, Monica will join the show as a part of a new crop advisers, handpicked by judges Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton to consult with them during the upcoming “Battles” phase of the competition. Monica will serve as the adviser for Cee Lo Green and his team of singers.
Other celebrities joining the show as advisers include singer-songwriter Sia (paired with Aguilera), country legend Reba McEntire (paired with Shelton), and music producer Adam Blackstone (paired with Levine).

Monica and the other consultants will play a greater role on the show once it progresses to the “live performance” phase.
Besides her new gig on “The Voice,” Monica is currently at work on her seventh studio album, New Life.
