Singer Kelis kicked off the season opener of "Ditch Fridays" last night.
The songstress seems to be taking the recent Nas' "Behind The Music" episode
in stride. Despite Nas' manager blasting her about spending up her
ex-husband's money like there's no tomorrow she managed to rock her curls and kick off the season opener of "Ditch
Fridays" at the Palms Pool & Bungalows in Las Vegas.
Nicki Minaj has been filling the celebrity-in-a-daft-outfit void rather nicely.
And Wednesday was another normal day in the office for the

day in London.
The rapper/singer donned a dress made entirely of leather straps as she left the W Hotel to go and film The Graham Norton Show, topping the outfit off with some bondage boots and a red pvc jacket.

Nas isn't
the most talkative interview subject, so some fans might be a bit
surprised that the Queensbridge rapper signed on to film an episode
of VH1's "Behind the Music." When MTV News caught up with him recently, Nas revealed
that he was very reluctant to be featured on the show. "It was tough. I
didn't want to do 'Behind the Music,' " Nas admits. "I didn't. But at
some point, if you don't tell your story, somebody else will. So I gave

The pieces of Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" music video puzzle are coming together, one photo at a time.
In a new black-and-white pic posted Monday on her Facebook page,
the singer kneels in a landscape of tree branches and cascading
flowers. Next to her is a white fur throw. Clad in a mesh bikini top and
a metallic skirt, Rihanna is wearing her hair down and sporting big
bangles.
In March, Rihanna was snapped on the set of the video. In a
candid picture posted online, the singer is looking down, her hair is
done up in a messy way and she's sporting no top, but is wearing lots of clunky bracelets. About the video, she teased, "Video shoot goin MAJAH!"
Weeks later, she dropped the single art for the song.
In it, Rihanna covers most of her face with a leopard-print scarf. All
fans see of her is her eye, all dolled up with heavy, smoky eye makeup.
"Where Have You Been" will be the third video released from Talk That Talk,
following the footsteps of the quirky "You Da One" clip and the
cinematic "We Found Love." This is also her second single produced and
written by Calvin Harris, who also worked with her on "WFL." The song's
production also gets an assist from Dr. Luke and Ester Dean, among
others.
While she has yet to announce a release date for the video, she
did offer a bit of insight into when it might drop, writing on Facebook,
"The countdown to 'Where Have You Been' is on."
Waka Flocka Flame is upside down on the cover of SPIN Magazine's May/June
issue. The 25-year-old Atlanta rapper is the couldn't-be-more-perfect
face of our first-ever Loud Issue, dedicated to all things enjoyably and
compellingly disruptive.
Not just because of his blaring dreadlocks or
booming sonics or growled hooks, but — as writer Julianne Escobedo
Shepherd discovers during a whirlwind international adventure — he's a
character at a moment when that quality seems at a premium.
And while
he's on the cusp of mega stardom, flying to Paris at a moment's notice
when Kanye beckons, he's held in check by two personal tragedies, even
if you couldn't tell from his fun-loving, club-destroying image. "I'm
25, but I got an old man's soul," he says. "I just know how to
camouflage it."
Ex-Bad Boy rapper-turned-preacher Mase is making a comeback for the second time round and has been spotted in the studio with Omarion.
Mase’s first comeback in 2009 was stunted by Sean Combs refusal to release the artist from his record label and let him move to G-Unit, where he recorded material that was never released.
The pic above was posted by Omarion to his Instagram account with the words: “Ma$e &….. he’ll yeaaaa you already know.”
It was rumored last month that the 36-year-old singer was going to sign to Rick Ross’ label Maybach Money Group, but he recently showed interest in reforming his former group B2K. {Source}
Frank Ocean's slow-motion song of devotion “Thinking About You” has a complex history. First written for R&B vocalist Bridgett Kelly, Ocean's version
was originally leaked last year only to be leaked again as up updated
re-mastered this version this March. Now, we finally have an official
video for the song the to be the lead single off Ocean's next LP.
Directed by Tumblr natives the High 5 Collective,
the vid sets Ocean's doe-eyed crooning against something of an
inter-dimensional love story, that or a dreamcatcher-inspired fever
dream. {Source}
Nicki Minaj seems to have had enough of the Twitter world. The star recently deleted her popular Twitter page, igniting a firestorm of outcries and shock from her legions of fans.
It’s still unclear why Minaj deleted her account, but it’s assumed that it may have something to do with negativity that she’s received from her some of her 11 million Twitter followers and an early leak of snippets of her Roman Reloaded album on a fansite.
Shortly before Minaj deleted her page, she tweeted,“Like seriously, it’s but so much a person can take. Good f—-ing bye.” Minaj warned fans of the deletion the previous day when she wrote that she was angry with her beloved “Barbz.” “And that’s exactly why I’m paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh – don’t cry 4 me argentina.” Minaj tweeted, adding, “On 2nd thought I’ll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet.*side eyes them*”
Just minutes after Minaj deleted her account, a slew of her loyal Barbz went into action and started the trending topic #NickiComeBack, while sharing their disappointment and rage over their leader’s departure.
Her hype man and alleged boyfriend, Scaff Breezy, tweeted“s— just got real.” We’re not sure what Minaj is going through, but her fans sure aren’t happy, but then again, neither is she. {Source}
Kanye West has changed the title of his most recent single from
"Theraflu" to "Way Too Cold." But while Island Def Jam claims the change
was a "creative decision," the move was more likely made to avoid
potential legal action from the medicine brand.
"Last week, Kanye West lit up the airwaves with a surprise Funkmaster Flex exclusive of
his incendiary new track 'Theraflu' through New York’s Hot 97. Within
hours, the track and its vivid, revealing, personal lyrics had taken
over the blogosphere, streets and clubs, inciting a firestorm in the
press, both on and offline," a press release from West's label read.
"Today, Kanye announces the creative decision to title the track 'Way
Too Cold' feat. DJ Khaled."
Taking a brief break from crafting her long awaited sophomore album, Lauryn Hill took to London’s 02 Arena last night for a truly showstopping performance.
A far cry from the ‘out of it monster’
she’s often presented as, Hill soared with performances of some of her
greatest cuts including – ‘Lost Ones‘, ‘Ex Factor’, and Fugee smash ‘Killing Me Softly’
