GOSSIP: Jay-Z Working on New Solo Album

Jay-Z has revealed that he has started working on a new solo album, despite the impending release of collaborative album with Kanye West. The rapper says that working in the studio with Yeezy inspired him to begin working on his own material. 

According to MTV News, Jay has already completed two tracks for what will be his 12th studio album. "I know exactly the tone and the whole feel of the album. I think when you experience creativity, you should get it out as much as possible," he explains.

The 41 year-old also revealed that he has been working with Odd Future R&B singer Frank Ocean on some tracks, although no other features have been announced. The new album will be Jay's first solo album since the release of 'Blueprint 3' in 2009.

Jay is currently gearing up for the release of 'Watch The Throne,' his joint album with Kanye West. While no official release date for the collaborative album has been announced, fans who have been pre-ordering the LP have been given August 2nd as the release date.

MUSIC NEWS: Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake Are Hitting the Road Together?

Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are planning a major stadium tour this summer, sources involved in the negotiations tell Rolling Stone. While talks are still ongoing, the tour as currently planned would include 11 to 13 stadium dates.

Timberlake hinted Saturday on Twitter that something was in the works, writing, "Big news coming after Justin's Grammys performance." According to the New York Post, Timberlake said, somewhat vaguely, on the red carpet before the Grammys, 

 "We're definitely going to go on tour . . . I don't know how much I should say. . . . It's going to be a lot of fun, I know that."

The two stars have appeared on stage together a few times recently for performances of Timberlake's Hov-assisted comeback single "Suit & Tie." Jay joined Timberlake during a show in New Orleans over Super Bowl weekend, the pop-star's first live show in nearly five years; and the duo also joined forces for a rendition of the cut at this weekend's Grammy Awards. 
Timberlake's highly anticipated new album The 20/20 Experience is set for a March 19th release.

After months of hanging out in NYC, Beyonce and Jay-Z took their daughter, three months, on a posh vacation to St. Bart's over the long Easter weekend.

The first-time mom, 30, went resort-casual for several outings on the celeb-friendly island, wearing an orange cardigan and denim cut-off shorts that showed off her post baby legs.

Bey & Jay also spent most of their getaway on a private yacht while celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary on April 4.

After nearly a year in the making, Jay-Z and Kanye West presented their history-making album to their friends and industry tastemakers at a private listening session at the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Monday night. 

The rap kings showed no signs of their rumored feud as they previewed tracks off Watch the Throne, a week before the project’s iTunes release. 

The star-studded evening drew the likes of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Q-Tip, Solange, Busta Rhymes, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and more.

Rita Ora told U.S. Glamour magazine that she is in awe of Beyonce Knowles for being so successful

Rita Ora believes Beyonce Knowles ‘can’t be human’ because she is so successful.

The R.I.P singer is signed to the record label of Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z and while Rita is grateful for the rapper’s backing, it is his wife who impresses her the most.

Rita, 21, grew up listening to the music of Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child and says the singer  - who gave birth to her and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy in February - is out of this world for being so successful in both her personal and professional lives. 

Rita refused to open up to the magazine about her alleged relationship with Rob Kardashian

Neatly side-stepping the question, the pretty blonde would only say that although Rob and hisfamous family live their lives in the public eye, she is essentially a private person. 

Rita is known for her trademark red lipstick and says she has no plans to change her look and will leave the industry looking the same as she does now. 

While most artists would baulk at the inevitable fame that comes with a successful career, Rita insists she doesn’t care as long as people listen to her music.

The star is set to release her eagerly-awaited debut album ORA in September and previously promised it will 'shock fans.'

She said: 'It's going to be a shock, but in a good way.

'It brings together a few different aspects of music I've loved and listened to growing up.

Literally, I haven't listened to just one style of music since I was little.'

She added: 'I love Little Dragon and The Vaccines, but then I love B.I.G. and TLC and Destiny's Child, so you can expect variety.'

'No Doubt was also a big influence on me.'

MUSIC NEWS: BEYONCE'S new album will be released in SEPTEMBER

Well it’s official, Columbia Records started making strides to push Beyonce’s  fourth Studio album titled “4″ back to September. The record label made the decision late Wednesday evening in an emergency meeting. Record executives at Columbia Records felt that a leak of the 3 weeks was too  severe and would hurt record sales. 

Columbia records cancelled all printing orders for the album until further notice.

Solid sources tell us that Jay Z who is reportedly head of Beyonce’s new management team agrees with the record label but Beyonce does not. Beyonce reportedly called her own emergency meeting in London. Word around Beyonce’s Camp is that Beyonce is now contemplating making an emergency trip back to the states to personally plead her case to Columbia Records.

Sources say that Jay Z wants to pick an entire new set of songs (minus the singles that have already been released). However, Columbia wants Beyonce to redo the entire album over because they feel the other songs Beyonce turned in are too concept edgy and extreme and fear they want play well in America and Beyonce, sources say is worried about making the Grammy’s September deadline.
