Though it was previously reported that Nelly Furtado‘s upcoming album The Spirit Indestructible (aka T.S.I.) would harken back to her 2000 debut Whoa Nelly!, we’re hearing more of a Loose vibe.
In the LP’s lead single “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)”,
produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Nelly goes returns to the
hip-hop sound of her 2006 LP. The Canadian singer appears to really dig
her new club tunes, since she’s seen jamming out to her song in a
preview vid filmed inside the studio.
The Spirit Indestructible (which also boasts production by Nas, Salaam Remi, and Tiesto) drops June 19.
