GOSSIP: Kanye West & Kim Kardashian the new 'It' Couple?

Ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves for what will surely be the flashiest celebrity couple of all time: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Kim and Kanye (Kimye? Kanyim?) may not be in love, but they're certainly a thing. They're an attention-grabbing, gold and fur-wearing thing. And you'll be seeing an awful lot of them, at least until Kim's ex Reggie Bush comes back into the picture or one of their overworked publicists quits.

In "Theraflu," the Kanye West and DJ Khaled tune leaked Wednesday evening, West cops to what many had suspected for years: Major feelings for his longtime "friend," Kim.

"I'll admit I fell in love with Kim
Around the same time she fell in love with him
Well, that's cool, baby girl, do your thing
Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."

The "him" to whom Kanye refers is undoubtedly Kim's ex-husband Kris Humphries, who plays for the New Jersey Nets—a team partially owned by Kanye's pal and collaborator Jay-Z.

Surprise, surprise: The day after the song leaked, Kim and Kanye were spotted dining together at New York City eatery Serafina, followed by a high-profile trip to FAO Schwarz. Timing, friends, is everything. Trust this match made in publicists' heaven has been a long time in the making.

FASHION: Solange Knowles for Complex April 2012

Solange Knowles can’t seem to miss style-wise, and her spread for Complex Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Issue is no exception. Rocking bold prints by Kenzo and Margarita Sapala accented by spunky shades and bangles, the dj/musician/fashionista revealed some of her preferences — including her favorite reality tv star — in a game of “Would You Rather.” Some excerpts from the interview:

I’d rather be submissive than dominant. Strong, independent women share this sentiment of wanting to be taken over sexually behind closed doors. It’s the natural balance for a woman like me.

I’d rather live in the U.S. than Europe. I talk shit about the American way, and how much more together Europe is as a society, but traveling as much as I have, there are lots of things I appreciate about home. I plan on living in Europe at some point, but for now I’m good in Brooklyn.

I’d rather be on the cast of Love & Hip-Hop than Project Runway. I’ve never seen Project Runway, but I’m a huge Chrissy [Love & Hip-Hop star Christine Lampkin] fan. I’d need to take boxing lessons from her first though, nahmean?

I’d rather be the cool aunt than the authoritative aunt. The closer my sister came to motherhood, the more stern she was with my son, Julez, but when he was between the ages of 1 and 4, she put the s in spoiling. I had to deal with the cool aunt for seven years, and I’m ready for payback! Late nights, candy binges—I’m doing it all!

I’d rather have known my parents when they were younger than only know them as my parents. My mother was the most stylish, flawless woman I’ve ever seen. My father had a little cool, but my mother was a different breed of cool. I’ve looked through photographs of her that inspire me today. She’s partied at Studio 54, hung out in ski chalets in Colorado, and played Cleopatra in a play in Egypt. She’s insanely cool in her 50s, but I wouldn’t pass up being with her in her prime!

TV Roundup: Oprah Winfrey Calls OWN a Mistake

Oprah Winfrey appeared on CBS This Morning and admitted that launching her own network has been far more difficult than she anticipated, even going so far as to call it a "mistake."

"The idea of creating a network was something that I wanted to do," she told Charlie Rose and Gayle King. "Had I known that it was this difficult, I might have done something else."

OWN has struggled heavily since launching in January 2011. While the network started off with about a million viewers, it's now averaging roughly 300,000 viewers per month. OWN also laid off a group of its employees last month, including two high level executives, and canceled Rosie O'Donnell's fledgling talk show.

Amidst these struggles, Winfrey was remarkably candid about the sharp learning curve that has come with creating a network. "If I knew then what I know now, I might have made different choices," she also said on the CBS This Morning. "If I were writing a book about it, I could call the book '101 Mistakes.'"

HOT SHOTS: Brandy Surprises in YRB Magazine

Brandy’s solo return to the charts is almost here and the diva has lit the fuse of excitement among her eager fanbase. In a candid new interview with YRB magazine, Brandy shared several details about her upcoming ‘Two Eleven’ album, such as how she chose the record’s title and how she plans to expand her unique sound with the project.

Working with songwriters such as Sean Garrett and Frank Ocean, Brandy has crafted ‘Two Eleven’ to target fans of Hip-Hop, Pop and R&B. Of course, she hopes to achieve her goals via the guidance of her new “angel,” the late Whitney Houston.

On her ‘Two Eleven’ album title:
Management insisted that no questions be asked about the loss of [Whitney Houston], but Brandy was quick to reference her, explaining that she was important enough to inspire Two Eleven’s title. “Some of the titles I was working with were Rebirth, Reincarnation, Reinvention, Resurrection… I just felt like Two Eleven describes all of that. It’s the day I was born, and each year, I evolve and change with time,” she says.
“It also has a whole new meaning to it because I gained my angel. My icon is my angel now. It’s all tied in there and I just think it best represents who I am and the responsibilities I have moving on.”

On the songs included on ‘Two Eleven’:
Shying away from the smooth piano-infused sound of Human, Brandy roughs up her sound on Two Eleven, maintaining the powerful productions of previous records but mashing in genres outside of her comfort zone. “It’s definitely R&B, but it has the crossover appeal. It’s grittier, it’s edgier, it’s just different type of R&B. It’s not your regular smooth, soft with the beat type music,” she describes. “It’s just taking risks and hearing how I sound over different types of music, and I wanted an album that different people can listen to. Not just R&B, but pop and hip-hop. I wanted everyone to have something that they can listen to on this album.”
