Lil Wayne has announced his new album Devol, which will contain a host of love songs.
The Young Money boss has been recording his tenth studio album since
the release of his last number one record Tha Carter IV. Wayne announced
the new project yesterday during an interview with MTV, and revealed
his new fiancee Dhea may have a hand in the title of the album.
"I was recording an album at the same time called Devol spelled D-E-V-O-L, 'cause that's 'love' spelled backwards," he told MTV's Hip-Hop POV, revealing that he recorded the album while he was incarcerated at Riker's Island prison in 2010.
"And it's my version of love songs. And what I mean by my version of love songs is they're not saying I love you."
Lil Wayne has been dating Dhea for more than a year, and she was
recently spotted with a huge rock on her engagement finger, fuelling
rumours he had proposed.
