R&B singer Chris Brown seen driving one of his different cars from
the Greystone Manor Nightclub in Hollywood following a crash in his
Porsche earlier in the day.
The star totaled his fancy Porsche Saturday after crashing into a wall
on the way to a charity event in L.A. He claims an "aggressive pursuit
by paparazzi" was to blame.
Brown's rep explained in a statement to Entertainment Weekly that after the singer was cut off by photogs, "the occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley, at which point he was cut off by two additional vehicles."
He apparently crashed into a wall, which shattered upon impact. The car looked pretty banged up too and was towed at Brown's request.

While the singer has his side of the story, Chris Doherty, owner of INF, the agency that employed the photographers at the scene, says his guys "had nothing to do with Chris Brown crashing."
Doherty insists his cameramen arrived AFTER Chris crashed. "No photographers were following him at the time he crashed," he told TMZ. "He crashed his car and it’s convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements."
So far, the Beverly Hills police have issued a statement on the matter, but wouldn't comment on facts beyond the crash itself.
Despite the expensive hiccup, the singer ended up making it to visit a kids' dance studio event and seemed to be in good spirits. Now we'll just have to wait and see if there's any more Chris Brown excitement this weekend, since he's up for a Grammy Sunday night and will probably show up with on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna. It's been almost exactly four years since the couple didn't make it to the 2009 show due to their infamous domestic violence incident.
