BET Awards '11: Shining Stars Nomination Special/ NEW PERFORMERS ADDED

Kelly Rowland, Mary J. Blige and Trey Songz are the latest artists set to perform at the 2011 BET Awards. Additionally, Cee-Lo Green will also make a “special appearance” at the show, which will air live from L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium on June 26 on BET. BET has already announced some talent for the telecast, including host Kevin Hart, Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Patti LaBelle and Humanitarian Award honoree Steve Harvey. Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys and Jill Scott have also been previously confirmed to be performing. Nominees for the show’s awards were revealed last month.

The legendary Apollo Theater presented Stevie Wonder it's highest honor by inducting him into the Hall of Fame Monday evening. Wonder first graced the Apollo Theater stage at twelve years old, now the music icon will be celebrated with performances by Wyclef Jean, Yolanda Adams, Melanie Fiona, Raphael Saadiq, Paul Schaffer, Chick Corea and other special guests during the Apollo Theater’s Sixth Annual Spring Gala Benefit Concert.

Stevie Wonder joins a list of legendary artist including Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Patti LaBelle and Quincy Jones as Apollo Theater Hall of Fame recipients.
